Training Workstations

On completing training, retaining newly learned skills is the next challenge. With many new technologies not requiring frequent technical intervention, technicians can go for months without applying their new skills.
To obtain maximum benefits from a training investment, there are several ways to complement class training. One of the most effective ways to reinforce classroom training is through the provision of an opportunity to practice safely using a Training Workstation.
What is a Training Workstation?
- A simulator of an installed system which allows practice/reinforcement of skills acquired in the classroom
- A tool to ensure new skills are practiced and reinforced following classroom training
- A platform for testing modules and spare parts before using them in plant or returning them for repair
- A tool for evaluating modifications to engineering processes - reducing development time and achieving shorter, more effective start-ups
- PLC-5 Training Workstations
- SLC-500 Training Workstations
- ControlLogix Training Workstations
- Kinetic Training Workstations
All training workstations can be supplied with either a lightweight or heavy duty transport case – contact the Training Centre for information and pricing details.
